The Geriatric Psychiatry Service at our center is designed to address the psychological, cognitive, and emotional needs of older adults. With aging, certain mental health conditions may appear or worsen, requiring a specialized, compassionate, and multidisciplinary approach.

We provide care for

• Mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.)
• Mild cognitive impairment and dementia (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease)
• Psychotic disorders in older adults
• Psychological distress related to loss, isolation, or transition to assisted living
• Behavioral or adjustment issues linked to chronic physical or neurological illnesses
